EBICS was developed by the German banking industry. It enables corporate customers to conduct their electronic banking transactions flexibly, securely and effectively. Typically, account information is retrieved from the bank and payment orders are sent to the bank.
Due to an agreement within the German banking industry, EBICS is supported by almost all banks in Germany, so that the technical requirements for EBICS are identical. Since the electronic data formats for the transmission of payment orders and account information have also been standardized, only one software is required by corporate customers to reach all banks in Germany with EBICS.
DZ BANK offers you the software GENO cash and the electronic banking portal Multiport for this purpose.
Multiport is a browser-based and multi-bank-capable electronic banking portal with which the entire EBICS transaction can be processed conveniently, securely and independent of location. Thanks to the multibank capability, a complete financial overview of all integrated accounts of different banks is possible.
The Format Wizard supports you in the onboarding of your payment transactions at DZ BANK. The application allows you to validate your test messages against the applicable ISO 20022 schemes of the German Banking Industry and other formats supported by DZ BANK, such as CGI. In addition, the Format Wizard offers further functions to test the possibilities of new format versions in advance of use.
